This Office extends its sincere congratulations to the 2018-2019 Elementary/High School graduates as well as completers. Truly, this is a feat not only for our learners but also for their parents, benefactors, guardians and supporters as well as for our teachers and school heads. Indeed, this calls for a celebration. Congratulations to all of you!

Being a graduate and a completer of this era in the K to 12 Basic Education Program means that you belong to a generation whose life is surrounded by scientific and technological advancements which result to the many complexities of your growing-up years and the diversity of your needs. Providing you with educational experiences that address your varying needs has truly paused a challenge to our educators in the different hierarchies of education.

But the Department of Education has faced the challenge of providing the quality of education that is accessible, relevant and liberating and to meet your educational needs despite your diversity. Even in diversity, we can still be united. Our learners might be coming from multifarious social, economic and cultural backgrounds, but this diversity is unified by the single intent of DepEd to provide quality education to all Learners, no matter what the different challenges and circumstances surrounding our learners are. From Tawi-tawi to Batanes, we have diverse learners but we are one in providing quality education for all. Our efforts to provide to our diverse learners the quality of education that is accessible, relevant and liberating is the unifying force that bind us as one. Truly, despite the diversity of learners and learning circumstances obtaining in the archipelago, we strive to be united in providing quality education to the Filipino learner. Henceforth, let this year’s graduates and completers be confident that as they go out of the portals of their respective schools and as they proceed to the next level in school, they carry with them the skills and competencies they need for productive living.

Dear graduates and completers, go out and conquer the world, for you are now ready to face the challenges of living in the next chapters of your life that you are about to open.

However, let us not forget that this success is made possible because of the many hands that have molded you and helped you achieve your success your parents, guardians, benefactors, relatives, teachers, friends and all those who have added color to your school life. Loving thanks should be accorded to them for they have contributed to your success. We also thank our Local Government and stakeholders for they too, have contributed to your worthwhile education experience. Most of all, we give thanks to our Lord, the giver of life and the divine provider for making all these things possible. In the palm of His hands, we are held in great love.

As we drop the curtains of one stage of your educational life, another scene shall open and we wish all the best that life can offer. May the good Lord bless you in your undertakings! Good luck and God speed. Congratulations!
